A variety of custom straps πŸ’™

It’s been a while since I’ve had the chance to sit and read. Or just spend half a day going down a rabbit hole researching on ideas. I really miss those times but there’s still work to catch up on. Honestly though I’m so grateful for everyone being patient on the orders. Its a little stressful being behind schedule but I could not have asked for a more generous clientele. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will work hard to get back up to speed πŸ™‡

First sign of winter light 🌞

Apologies for the lack of updates. I’m currently working to minimize the lead times and once I’m back on track I will be back to researching again πŸ˜‰

It’s been a busy month of catching up. We’ve had some crazy rains through February and I hope those affected by the floods are recovering well 😌

A small update for the Everett wallet is in the works!

Off white colours (left to right: Swift, Lagun and Epsom).

Tiffany blue in Swift and Epsom.

Lagun in Viridian.

New Epsom colours.

New colours for Lagun, Swift and Epsom are now available.

For a long time I relied on chevre as the only option for bright, vibrant colours and it’s a real treat to have more articles in the mix. These leathers also slightly differ in temper so the Epsom will be available to use on wallet designs.

New season of croc have also arrived. You’ll notice the Porosus (dark grey) has slightly different scales compared to Niloticus crocs πŸ˜‰

Custom lining option has been added to the site!

This has been fairly popular recently and I wanted the options to be easier for browsing. The current options are Swift, Baranil, Novonappa and Chevre. While it is possible to use other leathers these are the more comfortable options second to Zermatt.

Thank you everyone for being patient with the orders.

The new leathers have arrived and will be up tomorrow morning 🀍

Custom bifold and keycase πŸ’™

The final shipment of leathers have just arrived and I received a sample of lizard skin. I might add this on the menu for watch straps, no extra fee on this one πŸ˜‰

A small update on the Everett coin. The lid is now slightly longer and will only tuck into the catch (cutout) when the pouch is filled up with coins. It was previously short enough to be tucked in when empty however the longer lid adds a tad more security when the pouch starts filling up. Since the lid naturally faces down it's not necessary to use the catch but it looks a little neater with this detail πŸ˜‰

I've just received a bunch of new colours for Lagun, Swift and Epsom. There is one more shipment coming and I will update the swatch list once they're organised ✌️

Leder Ogawa oil cordovan.

Subtle variation of dye.

Traditional Japanese shells.

Porosus, camel, yellow and white.

New oil cordovan is now up live! Apologies for the long delay on the update. I first saw these during my visit to Leder Ogawa and it’s been on my mind since. Simply put, these shells feels like a cross between Horween and Japanese shell cordovan.

Traditional Japanese shells are top aniline dyed and hard glazed resulting in a vibrant and lustrous finish. They are generally very firm and have a consistent finishing throughout. Oil cordovan are drum dyed with natural pigments and softly glazed. It is more supple, will bleed with hard use and has a more responsive patina compared to the glazed shells.

The oil cordovan will also be available as an option for full shell wallets πŸ˜‰

I’ve also added a few more options of the traditional shells (orange, garnet and dark grey) along with some new porosus colours.

Some listings are still being updated for the new options but I’ll get them sorted by tomorrow.

Its my favorite time of the year where I get to sit down, catalogue the journey and plan for whats ahead. This has been the busiest year to date but not without lots of fumbles. There were plenty of late nights and missed deadlines but I’ve been so blessed to have the kind clientele giving me room to work at my own pace. That being said I don’t want to take it for granted I hope to fix these issues very soon. I suppose it’s a common hurdle for every creative and now that I get a time to step back I feel like its a fun challenge to tackle.

Thank you to friends, clients and family for accompanying me through this journey. I really hope to get back in the stride of designing again this year and if the stars align, there are also bigger things in the works. Happy new year guys!
