Shrunken Calf

Soft and fine grained calfskin from Germany. The shrunken calf is very resilient and easy to maintain. It is a close cousin to Epsom (embossed calf) but has a naturally textured grain from its tumbling and milling process. This leather will show very minimal wear and aging over time.

Tannery: Perlinger (Germany).
Temper: Soft.
Surface: Shrunken grain (natural non uniform), excellent water resistance.
Tanning: Chrome tanned.
Patina: Very resistant against wear, will not patina and is easy to clean.
Other notes: Different from its brother Epsom, the shrunken calf is milled to have natural non uniform grain.
