Vieilli (Buffalo)
A niche article from Remy Carriat, the Vieilli is a close cousin of their Apoa (Buffalo) line. This leather is extremely supple with excellent resistance against marks. Leathers from Remy Carriat are renowned for their resilient finish, however the Vieilli is tanned for the opposite effect. It is hand buffed and left untreated allowing natural patina to develop. Unlike any of the other leather options, the Vieilli features a unique combination of a vintage finish while retaining a luxuriously soft handle.
Buffalo hides has a distinctive grain structure that varies greatly throughout the hide. An option for tight or open grain is available due to the high variance of the structure.
