Shrunken Calf

Soft tempered and fine grain calfskin from Germany. The shrunken calf is very resilient and easy to maintain. It is a close cousin to Epsom (embossed calf) but has a naturally textured grain from its tumbling and milling process. This leather has a timeless look and will show minimal wear/aging over time.

Tannery: Perlinger (Germany).
Temper: Soft.
Surface: Shrunken grain (natural non uniform), excellent water resistance.
Tanning: Chrome tanned.
Patina: Very resistant against wear, will not patina and is easy to clean.
Other notes: Different from its brother Epsom, the shrunken calf is milled to have natural non uniform grain.

Dark navy and gold

All of our products are hand made with traditional leather crafting techinques. They are cut, saddle stitched and burnished by hand. Our stock of leathers are sourced from the finest tanneries around the world. We use full grain leathers which shows its natural qualities and will have subtle differences between every hide. The combination of these processes results in a unique feeling between every product.
