Arctic Elk

ARCTIC ELK

Elk hides are traditionally used for clothing and armory for to its hard wearing nature. It is extremely soft and dense which makes it comfortable to wear for prolonged period of time.

These hides are sourced from the northern region of Scandinavia from wild game. Due to them being wild animals, there will be natural marks and scars present throughout the hide.

Elk has a distinct fissured grain with irregular nap. When the grain is aggravated the texture becomes almost like nubuck but will in time round off with patina. This unique characteristic makes the elk appear weathered through time without the need for artificial distressing.
